Interim version, 21 Oct 2026. This is the privacy notice for the Bespoke by Bliss website while it is in its first, public-pages-only form. It will be replaced by a fuller version reviewed by our legal adviser. When that happens, the new version will show here with its own date.

Who we are

Bespoke by Bliss ("Bliss", "we", "us") designs and styles events and corporate gifting, and is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We decide why and how the personal details described here are used. You can reach us about anything in this notice at hello@bespokebybliss.com.

What this notice covers

This website currently has public pages (home, selected work, expertise, corporate gifting, studio and contact), a general enquiry form, a corporate gifting enquiry form and a WhatsApp button. There are no customer accounts, no online event builder and no online payments at this stage. If that changes, we will update this notice before those features are switched on.

What we collect, and why

If you send us an enquiry (general or corporate gifting). You give us your name, email address and message. You may also give a phone number, your company, the kind of event, a city, a rough date, a rough size, and for gifting the occasion, quantity, budget and delivery date. We also keep how you would like us to reply (email, WhatsApp or phone) and the language of the page you used. We use these details to reply to you, to discuss and prepare a proposal, and to keep a record of the conversation. Please do not put other people's personal details (for example lists of gift recipients) in the message box. We will ask for what we need later, if we work together.

Spam protection. When you send a form we keep a scrambled code (a "hash") made from your internet address. It changes every day and cannot be turned back into your address. We use it, and short-lived counters, only to spot and slow down automated abuse. The counters are deleted after about two days. We do not store your internet address itself with your enquiry. The form is also checked by Cloudflare Turnstile (see "Who handles your data" below).

Counting taps on WhatsApp, phone and enquiry buttons. When you tap one of these buttons we add one to a daily total for that page and button type. We store the page, the day and the count, and nothing about you. No cookie is used and nothing is linked to you or your device. We use the totals to see which pages help people reach us.

Cookies. The public pages do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and we do not run analytics or advertising tools on them. The pages do not set cookies of their own for visitors. Cloudflare Turnstile may use a small amount of technical browser storage to tell people from bots; it is used only for that check. Because of this we do not show a cookie banner.

Server records. Like all websites, the company that hosts our site keeps standard technical records (such as the internet address and the pages requested) for security and to fix faults.

WhatsApp, phone and email. If you message or call us outside the website, for example through WhatsApp, we receive what you send and your number or address. WhatsApp is run by Meta and has its own privacy terms. We use these details to reply to you.

Why we may use your details

• To answer your enquiry and take steps you ask for before any agreement is made.
• To keep a record of enquiries and the replies we gave.
• To protect the website against spam and misuse.
• To meet legal, accounting and tax duties if we later work together.

We do not sell your details. We do not use them for automated decisions about you. We will only send you marketing if you have clearly agreed to receive it.

Who handles your data

We use trusted companies to run the website and our business email. They handle data on our behalf and only for those purposes.

• Netlify hosts the website.
• Neon hosts our database, in Frankfurt, Germany. Enquiries are stored there.
• Cloudflare stores the website's photographs (Cloudflare R2) and runs the Turnstile spam check, which receives technical details from your browser and your internet address to decide if you are a person.
• Postmark sends the emails the website itself sends, such as sign-in emails for our own team. Visitors do not receive automatic emails from the website at this stage.
• Google Workspace runs our business email, including hello@bespokebybliss.com, and calendars.

Some of these companies are based or process data outside the UAE, including in the European Union and the United States. We choose providers that commit to protecting data, and we use contracts or other safeguards that require this. We share your details with other people only where the law requires it, or if you ask us to (for example, introducing you to a venue or supplier).

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to a project: 24 months from the date of the enquiry, then deleted or made anonymous.
• Enquiries that become a project: kept for as long as we work together and afterwards for as long as the law requires for legal, accounting and tax records. Our terms will say more when you become a client.
• Enquiries we identify as spam: 30 days.
• Daily spam-protection counters: about 2 days.
• Button tap totals: page, day and count only. They contain no personal details, and we keep them for up to 400 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, or to stop using it. You can also withdraw your agreement at any time, where we rely on it, and ask for a copy of your details in a common format. Write to hello@bespokebybliss.com and we will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first. If you are not happy with our reply, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live, and in the UAE that is the UAE Data Office. We follow applicable UAE data protection law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021.

Children

The website is for adults planning events and gifting. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect their details.

Changes to this notice

We will put changes on this page and update the version and date at the top. When you send a form, we keep a record of which version of this notice was showing.
